Well, here it is, my first ever deviantart contest entry. Hopefully I can do another but that's probably not gonna happen. ^^;

I chose the colors white, red, and black because I noticed those were the main colors AX uses on their website. More then focusing on a certain anime, I focused more on just being more Japanese (hopefully the "anime" part comes through with the style drawn ;) ), and tried to pay attention to the importance of type.

Fantastic! The cropping of the face is awesome, and keeping it japanese-styled without portraying a copyrighted character was a good idea, I think :3 and the hand-made typography has a special place in my heart!
